QT
I finally got PySide and PyQT successfully installed to work with Maya. I built a test GUI in QT and now trying to write code to make the GUI work. I am trying to build a UI that loads all the blendshapes in a list, allows you to build three types of nurbs face controllers, allows you to load the inverted corrective of two shapes, and also builds a node system that chooses what shape to trigger depending on where you are when using the box type controller. I originally looked at the jsFacialWin UI by Judd Simantov. I couldn't find the script to get ideas so I am building something that will be useful to me or others using blendshapes. Since I am using the BCS for the faces I am working on, I will see if I can connect the sliders also to the shape list. I'm excited to see the results of this UI and coding test. For those who want to install PyQT, check out Nathan Horne's tutorial: http://nathanhorne.com/?p=451
